1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the OurChurchLink mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

OurChurchLink is a mobile application designed to connect church members and facilitate spiritual community through:

Daily devotions, verses, and motivational content
Communication with the pastoral team
Church event information and calendar
Multilingual Bible reading and search using open-source Bible translations
Live streaming of church services via the church’s official YouTube channel
Worship music and audio content via the church’s Spotify channel or similar platforms
Sermons, teachings, and media uploaded directly by Church Admins and authorised church management
Prayer requests and testimony sharing
Membership applications and event requests
Community features and notifications

3. Eligibility and Age Suitability

3.1 All-Age Platform

OurChurchLink is a faith-based, family-friendly application containing church-related content that is safe and appropriate for users of all ages. The App is committed to providing a wholesome digital environment consistent with Christian values.

3.2 Minors

Users under the age of 13 must have parental or guardian consent to create an account and use the App. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 are encouraged to use the App with parental awareness. Parents or guardians may contact us to review or manage their child’s account at any time.

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

4. User Account Requirement

User login and the Church code is required to access the core features of the App, including:

Viewing church content and media
Registering for events and activities
Communication features such as pastoral chat and prayer requests

5. User Account and Security

5.1 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

5.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in inappropriate conduct.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the App for its intended spiritual and community purposes, including:

Participating in church community features
Accessing religious content, media, and live streams
Communicating with pastoral staff
Reading the Bible in multiple languages using open-source translations
Sharing appropriate prayer requests and testimonies

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or church staff
Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the App
Share false information or impersonate others
Use the App for commercial purposes without prior written permission
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Record, redistribute, or reproduce any streamed or church-uploaded content without prior authorisation from church leadership
Share content that conflicts with Christian values and church doctrine

7. Multilingual Bible Content

The App includes access to open-source Bible translations in multiple languages. These resources are provided free of charge for personal spiritual use and are sourced from publicly available, open-source repositories.

Users may read, search, and reference these Bible translations within the App for personal, devotional, and church ministry purposes. Redistribution or commercial use of these texts is subject to the respective open-source licences under which they are made available.

8. Media Streaming and Church Content

8.1 Live Streaming

The App streams the church’s live worship services, special events, and programmes via the church’s official YouTube channel. This service is subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service.

8.2 Music and Audio Content

The App may provide access to worship music, praise recordings, and audio resources through the church’s official Spotify channel or similar audio platforms. Access to such content is subject to the respective platform’s terms and conditions.

8.3 Church-Uploaded Content

Sermons, worship recordings, teaching sessions, and other audio/video content uploaded by Church Admins and authorised church management:

Are the intellectual property of the church or the respective creator
Are hosted on the App’s infrastructure or approved hosting providers
May not be downloaded, reproduced, or redistributed without prior written consent from the church
Are moderated by church leadership to ensure content is appropriate for all ages

8.4 Content Standards

All streamed and uploaded content is curated by authorised church leadership and is intended to be spiritually edifying, family-friendly, and appropriate for all ages in accordance with Christian values.

9. Data Collection and Privacy

9.1 What We Collect

OurChurchLink collects only user-provided information (name, email, phone, profile data, messages, and uploaded content). We do NOT collect location data, device identifiers, analytics, or advertising data.

9.2 No Tracking

We do not track users across third-party apps or websites. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or cross-app tracking technologies of any kind.

9.3 Privacy Policy

By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Payments and Financial Information

OurChurchLink does not currently integrate any payment gateway. The App does not process, collect, or store any payment card information, banking credentials, or financial transaction data.

The App may display information on how to make church contributions (such as bank account details or UPI handles provided by the church). However:

All financial transactions are conducted entirely outside the App
Innosoftech Pros LLP is not a party to any financial transaction between users and their church
Users are solely responsible for verifying payment details and completing transactions through appropriate channels

11. Content and Intellectual Property

11.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and share
You grant us a licence to use your content solely to provide the App’s services
You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of your content

11.2 Our Content

The App, including its design, features, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws
Open-source Bible translations are provided under their respective open-source licences
Sermons, devotional content, and other materials remain the property of Innosoftech Pros LLP or the church uploading such content
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission

11.3 User-Generated Content

Prayer requests and testimonies marked as “public” are visible to all app users
Private content is only accessible to designated church staff as configured in the admin panel
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate

12. Third-Party Services

12.1 Current Integrations

The App integrates with YouTube (for live streaming) and may integrate with Spotify or similar platforms (for music and audio). We also use basic infrastructure services such as hosting and push notification providers. We do NOT use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

12.2 Social Login

Social login integrations such as Google Sign-In are not currently enabled. They may be introduced in future updates, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

12.3 Third-Party Terms

Your use of any third-party services accessible through the App is subject to their respective terms and conditions and privacy policies.

13. Disclaimers and Limitations

13.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain App availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates
Live stream availability is also subject to the church’s YouTube channel status and internet connectivity
We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions

13.2 Content Disclaimer

The App provides religious and spiritual content for informational and devotional purposes
Content should not replace professional counselling or medical advice
We do not guarantee the accuracy of all user-generated content

13.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We provide the App “as is” without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for App services (if any)

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Innosoftech Pros LLP, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Content you submit or share through the App

15. Modification of Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notifications, email, and an updated posting on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. App Store/Play Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the platform from which you downloaded it (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We comply with all applicable app store policies and guidelines.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation, followed by mediation, and if necessary, binding arbitration.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Innosoftech Pros LLP regarding the use of the App.
